Hello Weekend!!

Happy Friday!

You have to admit that Rebecca Black "Friday" song is very catchy..

I haven't really *blogged* this week because it's finals time!

Some of you may be dealing with your own finals right now, and for some of you its a memory of the past. A very fine memory right?!

I had a final yesterday afternoon at 3PM and I had a group presentation at 5:30PM as part of my final grade. My group presentation has been the biggest pain in the butt since it started. My professor put us into groups about a month ago and that's when we meet as a group for the first time. During our first meeting it seemed like I had a good group. Well I was wrong, EXTREMELY WRONG! We decided as a group we'd send out an email to everyone with presentation topic ideas and go from there because at our first meet up we needed to come up with more current events. I was the ONLY one to send out an email. My two group members didn't come up with any topics and decided just to do my idea. When I asked when we should meet up to do our outline and decide who does what part of the project. No one answered emails or text messages! So after about 4 days going by I sent out an email telling them; what day we were going to meet, where, and what time. Their going around my schedule if they want to be rude by not responding.

When the meet up day came only 1 of them showed up... she put in no input.. and basically said ummm maybe 15 words in that over an hour time that we were together. But she did make it clear that she didn't "have much time to spend on this project because," she had "a 25 page paper to work on, and it's more important." Yup...She really said that...I was getting pissed! I don't want my final grade to be effected because of these 2 slackers. I hate working in groups, I actually despise it. I understand why teachers do it because when we get jobs after college we're always going to be working with other people. But.. the chic emailed me her slides, oh oops, I mean slide - JUST 1! My other group member swore he never got the emails I sent him and sent me his slides at 10PM on Wednesday night. The night before our presentation was due and while I was studying for a final I had Thursday too. I told my professor how frustrating and disgusted I was with their effort and work, thankfully he understood. I'm glad they looked like fools yesterday seeing the PowerPoint for the FIRST time while we were presenting it to my class. How could people be so rude, lazy, idiotic, moronic, and not give a damn??? I could ramble on about this but some people, ugh....

Friday Steve was off and so were all his best friends, which is very rare! Steve and his friends are on crazy opposite schedules due to school, work, girlfriends, etc. So Heather & I spent the night with the boys.

It was a really good evening and it was nice to see the boys all together.

On Easter my family and I went into NYC for pass and then went to

New York City's Easter Bonnet Parade.

Every Easter you have the opportunity to see Easter bonnets to the extreme as "paraders" wander along Fifth Avenue from 49th to 57th Streets. The area around St. Patrick's Cathedral is the ideal place to see the parade. The Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival runs. From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. the area along Fifth Avenue from 49th to 57th Streets is closed to vehicular traffic, and folks wander the street admiring various Easter Bonnets and Easter outfits.

We have been going as a family for acouple years now and my sister and I decided this year we wanted to make a bonnet to wear. With us both being in college and dealing with end of the semester projects, we both didn't have time. We made a pinky promise to do it next Easter.

There was a Gay Rights March through the city. This is a photo of Tyle Clementi, he's a former student from my school, Rutgers. Last semester he was harassed by his roommate through web cam. He jumped to his death of the George Washington Bridge.

If you ever have a chance on Easter to experience this parade, I say SEE IT!!

The hats people make and wear are amazing, beautiful, strange, funny and some are confusing. It really is a lot of fun, for all ages!

After the parade we had lunch and then saw Wicked on broadway. I've heard a lot of great reviews on this musical but it was never one I really wanted to see. But... WOW!!!! Wicked is the BEST show on boardway that I've seen!! (And I've seen A LOT!) Wicked was absoluetly amazing! The story, the production, the singing, the acting, the humor, the lighting, it's all SO exciting! Now I get why it's always sold out and my parents had such a hard time getting tickets. I loved Glindas character, she was so funny. Actually, after the show my dad told me Glinda reminded him of me and asked if I took acting classes from her.

Its a must see show!!!

As for this weekend: My roommates and I are going out to the college bars for one of last couple bangers before schools done :( Saturday is Steves 24th birthday so I'll be spending the day with him. Then its back to studying Sunday and all next week.

Snooki comes to Rutgers

On Thursday March 31, Snooki came to Rutgers University to talk about her GTL lifestyle and her MTV reality show.
I was very upset that I was unable to make her hour-long question-and-answer session. ...yeahh right... My school paid her $32,000 for the appearance using money that came from the mandatory student activity fees paid by Rutgers undergraduates!!
Her appear included: Teaching the "Jersey Shore" fist pump, she judged a "Situation" contest to see which of five male students had the best abs. She talked about her perfect dream guido, being tan, her "pouf" hairdo, and partying at Rutgers.

Snooki's advice for Rutgers students: "Study hard, but party harder."

In a statement released by Rutgers Friday, the school said the student-run programming association "made the decision to invite Snooki and her comedy act to the campus based on input from students. No state funds or tuition money are used for these events. The university does not censor the speakers students choose to invite to campus."

....What were you thinking, RUTGERS!??

Buy me a shot I'm Irish & Hot!

I hope everyone had a Happy St. Patrick's Day
and had some green beer!

Saturday March 13 before I left for Arizona; Seaside, NJ had a crazy St. Patrick's Day celebration. I went to my best friend Heathers house with Kim around 10:30AM to pregame with mimosas. Brooke was picking us up after work at NOON so before she came we ended our pregame with some shots. Lets just say Heather, Kim and I were buzzed.. We went to Brooke's house so she could get ready and decked ourselves out in St. Patty's gear!

We got into seaside about 1ish meet up with friends and hit 5 bars throughout the day. I spent about $40 on food, because I was eating everything in site and seemed to have no hunger control. We all hung in there until about 9ish when we all started fading out, and drunken argument's starting happening.

A group of us were sitting in a pizza restaurant on the boardwalk while Heather called a family member to pick us up since we didn't drive. Brooke began trash talking about how drunk Heather was, and yes she was but it has happened to most of us... So after Heather got off the phone she began calling our friend Mike (who Kim likes) and I walked over to her telling her to stop because Kim was getting upset. Then Brooke and Heather got into an argument and Heather ended up walking away from us. Brooke then proceeded to tell Kim and I that Heather is like the ring leader of us, and shes always telling us what to do, we don't have a mind of our owns and crap.... I was like "Oh really?!? If Heather tells me what to do how come I went away to RU where none of my close friends went to school??"

Brooke is also my close friend who lost her parents over the past summer that I blogged about here *Rest In Peace & May You Rest in Peace* A year+ Brooke lost her parents Heather, Kim, Brooke & I were the best of friends, and had a falling out. We began speaking again before her losses but it wasn't the same like it used to be. When Brooke's parents both committed suicide this past summer Kim, Heather and I were devastated because we were extremely close to Brooke's family and started inviting Brooke out more with us to help her cope and get things off her mind. We thought we were being good people, doing the right thing. But I guess not... Because Saturday in Seaside while this whole wack argument was going on Brooke says "I feel as if you guys are only nice and friends to me again because my parents died." "I made real friends while away at college, and they would never do what you girls did to me."

I stood there stunned! I replied "You honestly think that? And if you do that's so messed up because we were talking again before anything happened." The rest of the night got really awkward after that.. We got picked up around 10PM because we were all done from day drinking and we didn't talk the rest of the night.

Sunday early morning I left for Arizona but Heather texted me saying how Brooke made her feel horrible about drinking as much as she did, to the point that Heather cried. We're both shocked/upset/ and pissed about the things Brooke said to us Saturday night. Heather and I have talked about mentioning it to her about how it was hurtful but were not sure.

What do you ladies think we should do??
