Essie - Fall 2011

Essie's "Brand New Bag" collection, is inspired by handbags.
The Essie Fall 2011 collection consists of six creamy, rich hues reminiscent of the autumn colors in its complexity.
The collection is a nod to the Fashion of the 40s and 50s.
The colors are as seductive as the latest designer bags this season.
( Handbags? love!)

Beauty Product Reviews

I have a slight obsession with beauty products.
I really love trying products that I read on blogs that ladies have raved about.
Being a semi-new ULTA customer and having visited 3 different Ulta’s within a month I have collected a few new products.
Here are my new buys and my own reviews on each.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer $30
I'd heard hype about this primer on a couple of blogs so decided to give it a go.  I was guilty spending over $20 on it, but when sampling it in ULTA I was starting to love it.  With only a small amount my skin was left silky and pore size was reduced a little.  After applying I found that foundation glided on nicely and my skin had a nice finish to it after set with powder.  I do like this product, NOT its price tag.  I'm not sure if I'll buy another bottle or try something else.

Salon Grafix Spray Powder Shampoo for Blonde Shades - $7.99
I bought this product because I bought the Tresemme Dry Shampoo and I HATED it. The product comes in several different shades including brown, blonde and red.  I tried to for the first time this week and it doesn't come out powdery and smells nice.  Hopefully I will continue to like it on days when my hair is greasy, and I don't have to damage my hair so much anymore with washing, blow drying and straightening it all the time.

OPI Texas Collection
"Too hot pink to hold 'em"  is a hot pink jelly leaning almost red.

Xen-Tan - Sunless Tan $39
Once-a-week sunless tan lotion with a weightless texture on the skin. Sheer instant color gives a natural tint and helps to keep you from missing spots. Shea butter, Gingko Biloba and Green Tea along with our new time-release ingredient to give the smoothest tanning results. Quick drying lotion is great for men and women, paraben-free, light fresh vanilla scent.

Rrandom whim purchase- Sally Hansen’s PM Lip Plumper. It’s semi-affordable for around $10 at local drugstores. The PM Lip Plumper instructs you to apply at night and you’ll wake up to fuller lips. Hmmmm… well, my lips were certainly more moisturized the next morning, but they weren’t really any plumper. It feels just like a lotion and applies with a white-ish tinge to your lips. It does sink in rather quickly.

Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse Foundation $13.99
There's nothing more thrilling than trying out a new foundation and having it work out for you!
This foundation feels very light. It’s easy to apply and blendable.  I even perfer this foundation over my NARS sheer glow foundation!

Benefit CORALista a coral blush for a tropical flush $28
A cool coral-pink blush and it's more pink than it's named. The color looks very deceptive, coral but swatches pinky. It swatches like NARS Orgasm, both coral pinks but surprisingly, I find CORALista looking more pink than Orgasm.

Are there any products you've tried lately that you really like?
I love hearing about products with really good reviews.

Megan Fox makeup look

I REALLY love the way Megan Fox does her makeup
it always looks great so I decided to try and do her look today.
It didn't come out exactly like hers looks but it was fun to try something new.

Her makeup is usually eyeliner on the top, thicked winged on the outer sides and then comes in thin toward the lash line & the rest of her eye. The bottom lashes are somewhat smokey on the ends and then a dark color lining the rest of her bottom eyelash line. A black V shaped cease in the eye with a light/nude color the remainder of the eyelid.  A bright pink blush color, pink lipstick and arched eyebrows.

Heres my try.....
Don't mind my hair its wet in a messy bun

Yess my eyes are real! :)

I think shes sooo gorgeous.. I think Ill play around with it alittle bit and
try different colors.

What celebrities makeup look do you love the most??
