What is a "jersey girl" like?

I love being a Jersey girl!!!

"We r from Jersey. Not New Jersey, just Jersey. We curse a lot. We say "yo" and we say it often. We sure as hell don't pump our own gas. We know what real pizza tastes like and we know that a bagel is much more than a roll wit a hole in the middle. We judge people by what exit they are off the parkway or by what mall they live closest to. We drive SUVs and we tailgate any chance we get. We can navigate a circle with attitude. All good nights must end in a diner, preferably with cheese fries. It's a sub, not a hoagie or a hero. and I wash it down with soda, not pop. I have a dawg, and I drink cawfee. We don't go to the beach, we go down to the shore...and New York City, is "the city." We know 65 mph means 80 mph"

A jersey girl sleeps just fine with sand in her bed. They go to the beach, not "down the shore." Jersey girls are not formal, casual attire means shoes and bras are optional. They have perfected the lost art of tanning. But most importantly, nothing matters in the whole wide world when you're in love with a jersey girl, cause no matter where you are you'll realize girls from jersey have that unexplainable class, that look in their eyes...it just takes a while for guys to realize no girl is like a jersey girl. And no matter where she goes, people know, she's Jersey, there's no changing that.

I'm from New Jersey, not New York, not Connecticut, and I'm sure as hell not from Pennsylvania. I'm from a real state where we don't pump our own gas, we "go down to the shore" or to "the city", and we ride the turnpike and parkway and if your like me you exit at 100. In this great state we don't eat hoagies, heros, or even worse grinders, we like subs. No need to worry in Jersey there is at least 3 malls in a 20 min radius, and so what if we have all been to one of the 10 diners in the area at 3 in the morning ( Golden Bell Maybe). I don't kno anyone who has half as much pride for where they're from, so go ahead, you can call it "dirty jerz" or "the armpit of the US" if you want, because I don't care. I like this place.. no I don't like it.. I LOVE IT!!!
