Heyy Everyone!! I hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas!!
Sorry I’ve been MIA. I really didn’t expect to take a break from blogging but with finals and then Christmas was like a couple days after that it just sort of happened.
I’m sure everyone knows about the powerful winter storm that roared into the east coast on Sunday, bringing most travel to a standstill and extending many family gatherings for at least another day
Much of New Jersey was expected to get a foot of snow by midday Monday. It was so severe that the Senate President declared a state of emergency Sunday evening. That gave authorities the power to close roads and evacuate people, if they deem necessary, and is the first step toward applying for federal aid for the cleanup.
The snow began falling across the state late Sunday morning and grew heavier as the day progressed. By early evening there was close over 11 inches. By Monday morning we had about 20 inches!!
A plow just came down my street today at about 6PM! My mother just went out to grab some things and she said the roads are still horrible. I’m just glad we’re some what plowed, because knowing we were trapped inside was getting to me.
[Here are some snow pictures I took]

Who lives in NJ or on the east coast that had this storm??
How much snow did you get and what did you do to pass time?!

Oh my gosh, SO jealous! It's snowing about an hour or 2 north of me, but I wanna wake up and see snow :)
sheesh! our roommate jeff is from new jersey. i'm not exactly what part but i know it is near philadelphia (because he is an eagles fan) :) and i was worried he wouldn't be able to come home! haha! I just want to go jump in and make snow angels... but I would probably bury myself with all that snow!
i won't lie, i'm glad you guys got the brunt of the storm this time! :) haha, in february when we got our 23 inch storm (in pa) my friends in north jersey didn't get so much as a snow flake! haha. i know what you mean about feeling trapped when you're snowed in though, that definitely isn't fun. glad you guys are able to get out and about now! and hopefully this is the last of these ridiculous storms for us upper east coasters! hah
