When I graduated high school my graduation gift was my very first dell laptop. I had folders upon folders of pictures and after 3 years the comp crashed and the bestbuy geek squad was unable to recover my photos. I lost photos that I didnt have printed out or backed up onto a disc. I now will forever always save my word documents, files, and photos on a USB drive.

UGH.. I feel your pain. During college I had two computers crash. First was okay because those were the days of film, but 2nd one is at my mom's it works but refuses to like me and it has like 3 years of college photos half of which I backed up. :(
I am seriously fearing this ..... afraid it will happen to me one day. I try and backup my computer now, but it still seems like it's inevitable!
