Top 2 things you've learned about friendship
1. Its okay to have a small group of friends-
I have a lot of "good friends" but I prefer to keep my best/close friends in a small circle. I have 2 **BEST FRIENDS**, Heather and I have known each other for 11 years now, Kim and I have known each other for 9 years and other girls I'm extremely close with. Heather and Kim know everything about me and I feel so blessed to have them in my life. It's an amazing feeling to know we've stuck by each other through everything and will continue to do so. I have an awesome group of girlfriends I feel like we have a family like relationship, and have the best times together wherever we go out :)
2. Good Friends will hurt you every now and then-
I've learned that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that. Having a very good friend hurt you is one of the worst feelings you can possibly imagine. The pain can be overwhelming. You feel the knife in your back and it feels like it will never heal.
The good news is that most of the time you can get through anything and rebuild a relationship if your friend was ever a real friend. If you have a long history and your friendship was very special, you can learn to forgive them and get on with your life. Even if it might mean that the relationship has been changed forever.

i think what you said is so true. we are human, and we will make mistakes, even with people we love. loving someone means being able to forgive and more on!
I have had such struggles dealing with #1, sometimes I feel inadequate because I only have a small handful of friends. But, I would rather have a handful of GREAT friends than a pile of crappy ones.

Ah #2 really hits a heart string with me I miss one of my best friends so much but she doesn't want to move past what happened.. But then again I haven't ever talked to her about what really happened.

I agree especially with #2. Even good friends can hurt you, but true friends just pick back up and move on from it.
