Sunday January 2nd was my best friend Heathers 23rd Birthday.
We meet 6th grade in middle school and haven't missed each others birthday since we've meet. Every birthday the minute we turn a different age at 12AM we call each other and sing/yell HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! It's been our silly little tradition since forever. She's the best friend anyone could have and I'm so grateful she's mine, she's my other half.
Heather decided for her birthday since it landed on a Sunday that we'd do a girls dinner and then celebrate this weekend while we're out with a drink. So Sunday Heather, Kim, Brooke, Kim's sister Kelli, Heathers good friend from college, and I went to dinner at "Dannys" in Red Bank, NJ. Heather, Kim and I had been to "Dannys" in September for a food and wine walk and the owner gave us free drink chips so that's why Heather picked it.
The food was so delicious I was in the mood for chicken and pasta so I ended up with chicken parm, the other girls had sushi, and lobster ravioli(which I've tried and is also delicious!) We each had 2 martinis and got a slice of cheesecake to sing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to Heather. Our bill came to about $220, and for some reason they took 7 drinks off our bill and our 2 cheesecake slices. We got lucky!
It was a nice night, Heather seemed to enjoy her birthday.

Hi! I just came across your blog. Are you drinking a French Martini in your picture? It sure looks like it! That is my favorite drink!

They can taste like butt if they're not made just right. Glad you sent it back and it was fixed. I look forward to reading more of your blog!
