Today I spent the day in New York City with my parents,
Steve, my sister and Matthew, my sisters boyfriend.
Today is my mothers birthday and she loves the city, so we walked around,
shopped and saw Elf on Broadway.

I LOVE the Elf movie!! When I heard it was playing on Broadway this year I told my mom we had to see it! Every Christmas season we usually see The Rockettes, but last year we all decided we wanted to see something different this year because The Rockettes dont change their routine that often.
Elf on Broadway certainly did not disappoint! There was new humor added, which was pretty funny. It didn't follow the movie exactly but I didnt mind because the show was entertaining and fun. Dealing with finals right now it's hard to get into the Christmas spirit, but this definitely helped my mood!
I'd recommend anyone who loves Broadway plays, the movie Elf, and the Christmas season, to see this holiday show. Very well done!

Great, fun pictures! I love NY! I lived in CT for 3+ years and never made it to NY around Christmastime. I'm still kicking myself for that. Someday....
