I have a really huge fear of sharks. When I go in the ocean I wont go all the way in, in the fear of sharks. When Im in the middle of the ocean on a boat when everyone is jumping off having a fun time you'll see me chilling on the boat because I'm sooo scared of sharks. But the weird this is Im OBSESSED with SHARK WEEK on Discovery Channel. To me its one of the best weeks of the summer and I never miss it. I think I like the fear of freaking myself out and giving myself the chills?! I get serious nightmares but I still watch it?!?! crazyyy
The last couple of weeks there have been alot of shark sightings on the jersey shore. Most likely due to the oil spill making sharks migrate to places they arent usually seen and due to our warm waters this summer. Its very scary because many of the beaches I go to have closed acouple of times or warn us not to swim that far out. For me to cool off the rest of the summer I think Ill be using the beach showers. thanks!!

No, I'm not ... but everyone I know watches it! I guess I don't understand the fascination behind it! Ha!
I'm not watching (by choice), but my hubby is (therefore, I already have watched some of it). Sharks freak me out, but at the same time, they are incredible!

HELL YES!! I LOVE Shark Week! I have grown up on it and never missed a year :)

OMG, I could have written this exact same post. I am SO SO SO afraid of sharks BUT I LOVE watching shark week. I tell my family i'm just preparing myself in case I ever get attacked haha.
