Last Thursday Steve, Heather, Kim, & I saw the
NY Yankees play Kansas City
at the NEW Yankee Stadium!!!
We left the shore around 3:30 made a trip up to my house near school, then took the train in my town into the city. We decided since the game drinks and snacks were so expensive(talking $10 a drink here ppl) that we'd pregame on the train and shove our faces with food on the way there. Everyone had their own different mixology of drinks, I had a blue Slurpee with vodka(it was hard to drink bc it was soooo strong, and pink lemonade with vodka) We got into Penn Station around 530PM!!? I dont know how the hell it took so long but Steve was alittle annoyed because he wanted to see things around the stadium... Then we had to take 2 subways over to the Bronx and made it to the Yankee Game at 7:20 something. The game started at 7:05. We decided to buy bleacher seats this time, because when we were at Yankee Stadium in April for Steves Bday we walked over near the bleachers and the view was still good!! Plus bleacher seats were sooo much cheaper. Well once we got into the stadium and found our seats, we had the BEST NIGHT!! We sat right behind Swisher(I asked him to shake his bum bumm and he did!!), we saw A-Rod hit 599!!!!!!!!, sat next to the bull pen and saw CC practicing his pitches, and had the best time!!!!!

We're already planning a trip for all of us + sum to go back the end of August to either see Red Soxs or Tampa Bay!! I was NEVER a baseball watching girl but games in person are so so fun! Loved it!
