Great quote... people do need to remember this! Maybe if we all started to live by this rule the divorce rate would drop?
I was talking to my best guy friend recently about my confusion over a guy. More or less, if I should get into a relationship with him.
My friend said: "Once I called my dad before buying a car. I asked him if he thought the price was fair, and if I should purchase it. He said something to me that made perfect sense about the car AND about relationships. He said: If you left and didn't purchase the car, would you beat yourself up about it for years? Would you always regreat not buying it?"
Now I ask myself that question every time I think about getting into a relationship.. about "settling".. would it be worth it? If I walked away.. would I always think "Thats the one that got away".
Its kept me from jumping into a relationship with just any body!
